This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how EasyFile ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") collects, processes, and safeguards information in connection with your use of the EasyFile platform and associated file-processing tools — including but not limited to document compression, format conversion, image resizing, and PDF generation utilities — accessible at easy-file.in (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Files You Submit

Files uploaded to the Service are processed exclusively to perform the specific operation you request (e.g., compression, conversion). We do not inspect, review, or otherwise analyze the substantive content of your files beyond what is technically necessary to execute the requested transformation.

  • Uploaded files are stored in temporary, isolated storage environments and are subject to automated deletion upon completion of processing, or within a maximum retention window of one (1) hour, whichever occurs first.
  • File content is never used to train, fine-tune, or otherwise inform artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
  • File content is never disclosed, sold, licensed, or transferred to any third party.

1.2 File Metadata and Operational Logs

To operate, maintain, and improve the reliability and performance of the Service, we collect and retain certain technical metadata associated with each file-processing transaction. This operational data may include, without limitation:

  • File attributes: file name, file size (in bytes), file format/MIME type, and the specific tool or operation invoked.
  • Transaction outcome: processing status (success or failure), HTTP status codes, and any non-content error diagnostics.
  • Network information: originating IP address, approximate geographic location derived from IP (country, region, city), internet service provider (ISP), and autonomous system (AS) information.
  • Session context: timestamp of the request, user account identifier (if authenticated), or an anonymized session identifier (if unauthenticated).

This metadata is retained in our internal activity logs solely for purposes of security monitoring, fraud prevention, abuse detection, capacity planning, and service analytics. It does not include the substantive content of any uploaded file.

1.3 Technical and Device Information

We may automatically collect standard technical information transmitted by your browser or device, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and referral URL. This information is used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

1.4 Account Information

If you register for an account, we collect the information you provide during registration (such as your email address) and maintain records of your authenticated sessions and tool usage for account management and support purposes.

2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use essential cookies required to operate the Service (e.g., authentication session tokens) and, where applicable, analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage patterns. We do not use cookies for cross-site behavioral tracking unrelated to the Service.

3. Third-Party Advertising

The Service displays advertisements served by Google LLC through the Google AdSense program. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve advertisements that may be tailored to your interests based on your browsing activity across websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings. EasyFile does not have control over the cookies placed by Google in connection with the delivery of advertisements, and does not receive any personally identifiable information from Google in connection with ad serving.

4. File Retention and Deletion

Uploaded files are subject to automated deletion procedures. No permanent archive of user-submitted files is maintained. Operational log data (as described in Section 1.2) may be retained for up to ninety (90) days for security and compliance purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized in accordance with our internal data lifecycle policies.

5. Infrastructure and Third-Party Processors

File processing operations are executed on Company-controlled infrastructure. Your files are not transmitted to third-party artificial intelligence APIs or external processing services as part of any standard tool operation. We may engage third-party infrastructure providers (e.g., cloud hosting, CDN) who process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations consistent with this Policy.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Disclosure of information to third parties is limited to the following circumstances:

  • Legal compliance: where required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or governmental authority;
  • Rights protection: to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected fraud, security threats, or violations of our Terms of Service;
